A rare piece of burlesque history, this is an original James Kriegsman photo. Kreigsman was one of the best known entertainment photographers of his time and the official photographer of New York's Cotton Club. Kriegsman photographed the great burlesque legends as well as some of the great singers of the day such as Pearl Bailey, Eartha Kitt, Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis Jr.
Almost all of Kriegsman's original negatives were destroyed by age. The relatively small number of photos owned by April March are the last remaining vintage originals from her photo shoot with him.
This is truly a very special piece of burlesque history as it is possibly the only opportunity to obtain a James Kriegsman original pin up that can be personally autographed by the subject.
